Kara Daviau shares her talents

The November OAG meeting included a presentation by local artist and teacher Kara Daviau. She explained her experiences as a painter, graphic designer, muralist and book illustrator. Kara's long career includes participation in national juried shows as a painter of abandoned spaces. People often confuse her paintings for photographs due to their photorealistic qualities. Kara also illustrated a child's book titled Chasing Clouds, created murals at various venues and teaches full time in the North Syracuse School District.
